So what’s this blog about?

Julian Agyeman (Cambridge, MA) and Steve Zavestoski (San Francisco, CA) are professors who care about streets. Julian is a car-free pedestrian, Steve a cyclist. We want this blog to host a thoughtful, respectful discussion about building a bigger movement of cyclists, both those who choose to, and those who have to, to help civilize our streets. See our first post for more background on the blog’s origins and ambitions.

  1. I would like to ask your permission to repost this excellent thoughtful piece to our http://equitytransport.wordpress.com/ program. In addition to your permission, it would be great to be able to identify the authors by short bio notes and photos. I am pretty sure that once you have had a look at what we are up to, you will like it. I hope. You can catch me at eric.britton@ecoplan.org, Skpye newmobility or +331 7550 3788. Thanks
